- Born May 12, 2003 to parents Vernon and Carol
- Father played basketball Creighton and was selected by the Washington Bullets in the 1985 NBA Draft
- Mother was a long jumper at St. John’s University
- Has two brothers (Marquise, Vernon) and two sisters (Natoya and Nyla). Marquise played collegiately at George Mason and professionally for the G-League’s Iowa Wolves and for the Phoenix Hagen in Germany
- Was also a track athlete in high school and won a gold medal in the pentathlon in the Junior Olympics
