2021 Outdoor Season

• Opened his outdoor season by racing the 110mH and 200m at the Tiger Track Classic (March 19-20).
• At the Tiger Track Classic, Burton ran 14.95 in the 110mH and 22.26 in the 200m. This was the first time Burton raced the 200m with Clemson.
• Set a wind-legal season’s best in the 110mH at the Tennessee Relays (April 9), running 14.91.
• Concluded his season by contesting the 110mH at the USC Open (April 16-17).

2020 Indoor Season

• Made his Clemson debut at the 2021 Orange & Purple Elite.
• Contested the 60mH at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25-27), running a season’s best 8.30 in the prelims.
• Earned his first collegiate victory in the 60mH at the Orange & Purple Elite (Jan. 9), running 8.50.
• At the Clemson Invitational (Jan. 15-16), ran 8.44 for the 60mH.
• Contested the 300 meters for the first time in his career at the Orange & Purple Elite (Jan. 9), running 35.20.

Prior to Clemson…

A versatile sprinter who excels at the hurdles and has the ability to contribute to the Tigers in a variety of sprinting events… placed 27th overall in the Championship division of the 400-meter hurdles at the 2019 New Balance Nationals Outdoor… at that same meet, set a personal best in the event, running 55.17… while competing within the AAU circuit outdoors in 2019, earned the victory in the 400m hurdles at the AAU GA District Qualifier… finished fourth overall in the finals of the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles at the AAU Region 8 Qualifier… competed with the Elite Speed Club during prep career… will come to Clemson with personal bests of 38.07 in the 300-meter hurdles, 55.17 in the 400-meter hurdles, 14.21 in the 110-meter hurdles and 8.10 in the 60-meter hurdles.
