Overview:   In his first year at Clemson after first-team Division II All-America season at nearby Anderson University in 2022-23…coming off his best tournament, he shot 200 (-10) at the NCAA Chapel Hill regional, leading the Tigers to the team victory…went into that tournament with fifth best stroke average on the team, now has second best  entering the NCAA National Tournament…has 72.21 average for the year…starter in five of the 12 tournaments, but has played four others as an individual…one of the reasons Anderson University was ranked #1 in the nation on May 5, 2023, the poll just before entering NCAA Division II regional action last year…attended Eastside High School in Greenville before going to Anderson…also lettered in football and basketball in high school.

In 2023-24 at Clemson: Had a record setting performance in leading Clemson to the championship of the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional…had rounds of 65-65-70 for his 10-under-par 200 that allowed him to finish fifth in the individual race…his 65-65 start was the best 36 hole score by a Clemson golfer in any NCAA Tournament and tied for the second best in any tournament…his 200 score was best ever by a Clemson golfer in an NCAA regional and his -10 tied for the second best score vs. par in a regional…had seven under-par rounds for the year, but six of them were in the 60s…had three top 10 finishes, two were in individual tournaments…had 11 rounds at par or better out of 26 total rounds…his 200 score at NCAA regional was lowest  in any tournament by a Clemson golfer this year…11 of his 14 appearances in team rounds were counters…had 87 birdies in 26 rounds…had strong 4.61 average on par five holes, best on the team…had best score of the round three times, including first round 65 at NCAA Chapel Hill Regional… NCAA regional was the only event he was Clemson’s top player….ranked 543rd in the nation entering the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional, he improved to #235 after his fifth place NCAA regional finish…his fifth place finish at the regional was the best by a Tiger since Turk Pettit finished fourth in 2021…Keever recorded just the fourth top five finish at a regional in the last 13 years….started his career with third place finish at the Poston individual tournament…he had scores of 71-67-69…that performance earned him a start at The Blessings and he finished 21st with a 147 total…had a top 10 as an individual at the Ka’anapali Classic in Hawaii, he had 216 total for 54 holes, including a second round 65….that was his last top 10 until his performance at the NCAA regional…had an opening round 68 at the Lewis Chitengwa and that was his top round of the  spring  regular season prior to his 65s at the NCAA regional….only started three of the first nine tournaments of the year, but has been in the lineup for ACC Tournament and the NCAA regional.

At Anderson University:  First-team Division II All-American in 2022-23 when he had a 70.50 stroke average for 10 tournaments and 30 rounds…first-team All-ACC and a two-time conference player of the week…had 22 under-par rounds, including 12 rounds in the 60s…finished the year with six top 10s in his 10 tournaments…two of the top 10s were victories, at the UNG North Georgia Intercollegiate to start the season and at the LMU Spring Intercollegiate in St. Augustine, Florida in February…co-medalist at UNG North Georgia when he had a 10-under-par 206 thanks to rounds of 69-70-70…had record setting performance in winning the LMU Spring Intercollegiate, he had rounds of 69-67-63 for a 199 total, 17-under-par…the 199 total was a school record by seven shots…his final round 63 set school record as well….the 17-under-par was a record for strokes under par in a 54-hole event…finished in a tie for second at the SAC Conference Tournament, a performance that helped Anderson win the conference championship…he had 210 total, (-6) at the conference event after consistent rounds of 69-71-70…finished 16th at the NCAA Regional Tournament where he shot one-under-par 212…helped Anderson to four team victories in 2022-23…in one of his most impressive performances of 2023, he finished third at the Azalea Amateur in Charleston against a national field. ..he posted rounds of 68-64-70-72 for a 274 total.
