2023-24

• Led Clemson in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, playing nearly 140 minutes and averaged 35.0 minutes per game in four contests. Led the Tigers in scoring (17.8 ppg) and shot 50.0 percent from the field. Averaged 4.3 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. Added eight steals and three blocked shots. He earned All-West Region for his play.
• Played and started all 36 games for the Tigers’ team that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight. The 36 games ties for the most starts and games played in program history.
• Averaged 12.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game this season.
• He shot 42.4 percent from the field, including 85.0 percent from the free throw line (a new career high and tied for ninth in program history with Jim Sutherland).
• Posted 27 double-digit scoring games, including three 20-points games, two of which came in the NCAA Tournament.
• Had 13 games in which he dished out at least four assists, including a season-high seven twice. He posted 23 total assists in the NCAA Tournament.
• Became the program’s newest 1,000-point scorer after a 463-point campaign and sits 27th all-time with 1,228 points.

2022-23

• Turned in a career year offensively for the Tigers, helping propel the team to 23 wins and 14 league wins.
• Averaged 13.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 0.5 steals per game, while adding in 0.3 blocks per game.
  • Shot 41.0 percent from the floor and 35.6 percent from three, while adding in 81.3 percent from the free throw line.
  • Posted a 138:70 assist-to-turnover ratio last season, including 17 steals and eight blocks.
• Posted double-digit points in 26 contests, including 20+ points four times.
  • Scored a career-high 26 points at Florida State (Jan. 28), which included the game-winning three-point play. He finished 7-for-12 from the floor, 2-for-5 from three and 10-for-11 from the foul line. The 10 made free throws tied a career high.
• Posted his first career double-double with a 13-point, 11-assist performance in a win over Syracuse (Feb. 22). It marks just the third such double-double (points/assists) under Brad Brownell at Clemson (Marcquise Reed and Clyde Trapp).
• Had six games garnering at least five rebounds, including a career-best-tying seven against Louisville (Jan. 11). He also had 13 games of at least five assists, while assuming the point guard role for the first time in his career last season.

2021-22

• Appeared in all 33 games and made 15 starts.
• Averaged 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, while adding 0.5 steals per contest.
  • Shot 45.1 percent from the floor, including 34.5 percent from three and 75.0 percent from the free throw line.
  • Turned in a 60:33 assist-to-turnover ratio last season, including 15 steals and six blocked shots.
• Posted double-digit points in nine contests, including two 20-point games.
  • Scored career-high 23 points at Boston College (Feb. 26) on 7-for-9 shooting, including 8-of-10 from the free throw line. He also added seven rebounds against the Eagles.
  • He netted 21 points against Wake Forest (Feb. 23) on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor.
• Tied his career-high with seven rebounds on two occasions. At Duke (Feb. 10) and at Boston College.
• Had 13 games posting at three or more assists, including a career-best five twice.
  • Totaled five assists at Duke and at Georgia Tech (Feb. 5).

2020-21

• Appeared in 24 games and made four starts.
• Finished shooting 31.1 percent from the field.
• Made at least three field goals on four occasions, including a season-high four twice.
• Scored a season-high nine points at Florida State (Jan. 23).
  • Finished an effective 4-for-7 from the floor.
• Tied season-high with nine points at Duke (Jan. 30).
  • Finished 4-for-8 from the floor and 1-for-1 from three.
• Tallied a season-best and career-high-tying four assists at Syracuse (March 3).

2019-20

• Limited to just nine games and four starts due to a foot injury.
• Started first four games of the season before suffering an injury.
• Over the course of nine contests, averaged 5.3 points, 1.0 rebound, 1.6 assists and 0.8 steals per game.
• Finished shooting 37.8 percent from the field.
• Scored seven points in career debut against Virginia Tech (Nov. 5), finishing 3-for-10 from the floor with three rebounds and two assists.
• Posted the first of back-to-back double-digit scoring games with 13 points against Presbyterian (Nov. 7). Finished 5-for-7 from the floor and 3-for-5 from 3-point range. Added a career-best four assists.
• Three days later, scored 10 points in a win over Colgate (Nov. 10), finishing an efficient 4-for-6 from the floor with two rebounds and one assist.
• Tied career-high with four assists in a win against Detroit Mercy (Nov. 17).
• Last game action came at Louisville (Jan. 25), scoring eight points on 3-for-5 shooting and 2-for-4 shooting from 3-point range.

Before Clemson

• Comes to Clemson as a four-star prospect and No. 98 overall in 247Sports’ Top 100 for the 2019 class. 247Sports ranks Hunter as the No. 4 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 14 combo guard in the country.
• Averaged 15.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game as a junior.
• Scored in double-figures in 17-of-22 games and scored more than 20 points on eight occasions, including at least 30 points twice.
• On the Under Armour circuit, Hunter averaged 14.0 points, 2.7 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
• Hunter chose Clemson over Georgia, Virginia, Oklahoma and Michigan State.
