The Clemson Family. You hear the term a lot when people describe Clemson University.
And if you stood in Fike Recreation Center during the Solid Orange Family Reunion on August 24, you’d understand why.
To kick off a new academic year, all Clemson student-athletes, coaches and athletic department staff get together for an evening of fellowship and fun. And there was plenty of both on this night.
President Jim Clements, athletic director Dan Radakovich and football coach Dabo Swinney spoke to the group, all touching on the special opportunities for Clemson student-athletes and those that work with them.
The event was capped by an entertaining edition of Clemson Family Feud with select coaches and their hand-picked teams answering questions about famous Tigers and Clemson landmarks, among other topics.
A nice meal followed by games and interaction. Just your traditional, family get together.
Only with a lot more orange.
