Solid Orange Squad Visits Two Elementary Schools the Week of February 1

The Solid Orange Squad visited two elementary schools the week of February 1-5. On Tuesday, the group visited Armstrong Elementary in Greenville, SC to participate in Share the Love of Reading Week. Rowers Michelle Nance, Ameerah Aly and Vanesa Ewais read to 160 third and fifth grade students and discussed the T.I.G.E.R.! Traits of teamwork, integrity, gratitude, education and respect.

On Friday, SOS was back in Greenville to present their Be a T.I.G.E.R.! Assembly to Hughes Academy. Rowers Victoria Graham, Michelle Nance and Andrea Belbusti, along with Kerry McLaughlin (swimming and diving) and Phil Pohl (baseball) emphasized the importance of good character through the T.I.G.E.R.! traits to 334 sixth graders.
