Solid Orange Squad Members Visit Honea Path Elementary School

On Friday, October 16, Rachel Sparks and Meggie Mizelle (swimming and diving) and Lauren Taylor (cheerleading) traveled to Honea Path Elementary to present Clemson’s Be a T.I.G.E.R.! character education program in the form of an assembly and to kick off the beginning of Red Ribbon Week.

The Tiger student-athletes presented two assemblies, one directed towards kindergarten and first grade students and the other for fourth graders. In total, approximately 500 students attended the assembly. The student-athletes emphasized the importance of respecting your body and steering clear of drugs and alcohol.
