School pride is on the line as South Carolina collegiate alumni compete to raise scholarship funds for their alma mater.
The Charleston RiverDogs are presenting Alumni Night on Sunday, July 16 at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The RiverDogs will host the Augusta GreenJackets at 5:05 p.m. Alumni and students from Clemson University, the University of South Carolina, and The Citadel will be able to raise money for their school’s scholarship fund with each ticket they buy to the game.
The school with the most advanced sale tickets will earn $1 from each ticket toward their school’s scholarship fund. The deadline for all competition orders is Thursday, July 13.
For example, if 3,000 Clemson students and alumni bought tickets to the game, the RiverDogs would donate $3,000 to the Clemson University General Scholarship Fund.
Tickets are $5. There is a special discount rate for groups of 25 or more at $4 a ticket. Picnic spaces are also available. Tickets may be ordered by phone or by stopping by the stadium. If you have any questions, please call David Lane at (843) 577-DOGS.
