Would you like to know what it is like to be a Clemson University student-athlete?
The Clemson University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is proud to present the First Annual National Student-Athlete Day on April 10, 2010 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM. The event will begin on the lawn of Littlejohn Coliseum and will progress through McFadden, Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Jervey and Memorial Stadium.
At each facility, a member of SAAC will give a presentation on what it takes to become a Clemson student-athlete and perform at the highest level. Topics will include teamwork, nutrition, academics and recent athletic success experienced by Clemson athletic teams.
This year we hope to have 500 participants enjoy an event planned, coordinated and run by current Clemson student-athletes.
So please, mark your calendars now to hang out with your favorite Tiger student-athletes for an afternoon of fun and an experience unlike any other!
If you have questions, please contact Linda White, the athletic department’s Director of Community Relations, at 864-656-2095 or www.clemsontigers.com and click on the “Community Service” or “SAAC” link.
We are excited to share this opportunity with you and hope to “CU” there!
