Clemson Athletics’ gameday operations team is set to welcome staffing support provided by Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services for football games this fall. Rhino Sports has earned the recognition as the “#1 Usher Team of the Year” for multiple years, as well as top ranks in guest services, parking, and exit usher teams from VenueChek, the industry leader in measuring customer service at collegiate sporting events.
“We’re excited bring in Rhino to join our staffing teams for football gamedays this fall as we continue to create the best game day atmosphere possible for our fans,” said Jon Allen, Clemson’s Assistant Athletic Director of Event Management.
This partnership with Rhino is not only good news for Tigers’ fans, but it also provides an opportunity for part-time employment for approximately 500 individuals from Clemson and surrounding areas in the Upstate.
“It makes me proud when we get the opportunity to provide this level of service to a great institution like Clemson University, which is what they have been looking for,” Rhino Vice President Brett Hickman said. “We have great staff members who enjoy working in a fun environment, and that results in a fan friendly atmosphere. I am excited to begin hiring more employees from the surrounding area so we can begin to achieve premium results for the 2017 football season.”
On Saturday, June 24, a job fair and “quick interview” session will be conducted at the Madren Conference Center from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Madren Center is located at 230 Madren Center Drive on the Clemson Campus. In addition, Rhino will hold a second job fair on Saturday, June 24, at the Courtyard Greenville Haywood Mall, which is located at 70 Orchard Park Drive in Greenville from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to working with Clemson Football, Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services also works with Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, and Duke Athletics to ensure a premium game day experience for fans and visitors.
“Hiring from the communities that we serve is a priority for us,” said Rhino owner Billy D. Prim. “We want to provide employment opportunities in the local areas that are so important to our partners. Our customer service training not only benefits our clients like Clemson, but it is also a valuable tool for our employees to use in their full-time jobs. Rhino staff will be seamlessly integrated into the game day experience and will be able to proudly say, ‘Go Tigers’ alongside other fans.”
Applicants may also contact the Rhino hiring headquarters by sending an email to employmentclemson@rhino-ses.com or by calling 864-643-5044.
Ephus 21 honored Rhino Sports with these accolades. Ephus 21 is the industry leader in measuring the effectiveness of collegiate athletic programs’ management of the game day experience through a service named VenueChek. During the 2016 football season, VenueChek visited 17 of the Power 5 Conference venues, and Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services was named the #1 Usher Team of the Year.
