Help Clemson Fight Hunger & Earn a Palmetto Point in Certified SC Grown Palmetto Series Food Drive

The Certified SC Grown Palmetto Series Food Drive is underway, as is the competition between Clemson and South Carolina to see which school can collect the most donations of non-perishable foods to help fight hunger in their local communities. All donations collected by Clemson benefit Golden Harvest Food Bank.

The school that raises the most donations by Nov. 18 will be declared the winner, which will be announced at the Clemson-South Carolina football game in Memorial Stadium on Nov. 24. The winner also earns one point for its school in the 2018-19 Palmetto Series standings, which currently is tied at 2-2.

HOW/WHERE TO DONATE:
Clemson students, staff, fans and friends can help the cause by donating non-perishable food items at several locations across campus, including:

  • Nieri Student-Athlete Enrichment Center
  • Cooper Library (vending area)
  • Watt Center (third floor)
  • Hendrix Center (career center & second floor)
  • Redfern Health Center (lobby)

Donations will also be accepted at local BI-LO stores in Pendleton, Anderson and Seneca.

Monetary donations can be made online, at https://goldenharvest.org/donate/.

All donations must be collected by Sunday, Nov. 18.
