ORLANDO, Fla. – The Clemson Tigers are set to compete in the UCF Knights Invitational in Orlando, Fla. in their second outdoor meet of the season. The meet is set to begin Friday, March 22 with the first event slated for 11 a.m. with the women’s hammer throw and wrapping up on Saturday, March 23 with the men’s 4×400 relay at 5:30 p.m.
Alongside Clemson, more than 30 institutions are set to participate in the Knights Invite.
Multiple Tigers opened up the outdoor season in style as Courtney Lawrence secured first-place in the men’s shot put and freshman Silvia Jelelgo was first to cross the line in the women’s 3000 meter at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational. Clemson will look to record more top-marks and top-finishes this weekend.
