CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson track and field program will have 28 entries at the NCAA East Region Prelims hosted by UNF in Jacksonville, Fla. from May 24-27. The women’s team will have 12 entries while the ACC Champion men’s team will have 16. The meet will be streamed each day on ESPN+.

100 Meter Dash – Wanya McCoy, Cameron Rose, Guinove Joanus, Dashinelle Dyer
Wanya McCoy holds the No. 3 time in the east region at 10.04. Cameron Rose trails just behind at 10.07, the No. 7 time in the east region while Guinove Joanus’s 10.22 positions him as the No. 31 seed. Dashinelle Dyer holds the No. 47 spot with a season’s best of 10.28.
200 Meter Dash – Cameron Rose, Wanya McCoy
Rose, the ACC Champion in the event, holds the No. 9 time in the east region at 20.25. McCoy is the 19 seed with a season best 20.41 time.
400 Meter Dash – D’Andre Anderson
D’Andre Anderson has the No. 17 time in the east region headed into prelims with a season’s best 45.89. That mark is good for No. 9 in school history.
800 Meter Run – Tarees Rhoden, Aman Thornton, Victor Ndiwa
Tarees Rhoden’s 1:46.20 is No. 2 in school history and in the east region. Aman Thornton trails just behind at No. 5 in the region at 1:46.82. Victor Ndiwa also qualified with a time of 1:48.46 that positions him as the No. 29 seed.
110 Meter Run – Giano Roberts
The NCAA Champion in the 60 meter hurdles, Giano Roberts holds a 13.43 season best and is the No. 9 seed.
400 Meter Hurdles – Jevon Williams
Jevon Williams’s 49.94 is No. 3 in school history and No. 10 in the east.
4×100 Meter Relay
Giano Roberts, Cameron Rose, Guinove Joanus and Wanya McCoy make up the school record holding 4×100 relay team with a time of 38.69. That time is No. 3 in the east this season.
4×400 Meter Relay
Wanya McCoy, D’Andre Anderson, Cameron Rose and Tarees Rhoden hold the No. 5 time in the east region at 3:02.25. That time is also the school record.
Hammer Throw – Daniel Cope
Daniel Cope’s 64.67 meter hammer throw is a school record and the No. 26 seed in the east region.
Javelin Throw – Ethan Cocco
Ethan Cocco’s 65.64 meter javelin throw is No. 36 in the east region and No. 5 in school history.
200 Meter Dash – Ockera Myrie
Ockera Myrie’s personal and season best of 23.02 puts her into the prelims as the 17th seed in the east. She is No. 5 in school history
800 Meter Run – Brynne Sumner, Jessica McLean
Brynne Sumner holds a personal best of 2:05.37, which is the 33rd best time in the east region this season. Her mark is No. 7 in school history. Jessica McLean just trails Sumner with a time of 2:06.38, which is 43rd in the east region this season.
100 Meter Hurdles – Antoinette Van der Merwe, Oneka Wilson
Antoinette Van der Merwe finished second at ACC Championships with a personal best time of 13.18. That is 19th best in the east region this season, whilc Oneka Wilson’s 13.27 season best sits at 26th.
400 Meter Hurdles – Lashanna Graham, KK Gadson
Lashanna Graham’s 56.54 in the 400 hurdles is No. 3 in school history and No. 8 in the east region in 2023. KK Gadson holds a season best of 57.17, making her the No. 19 seed at prelims.
The women’s 4×100 meter relay comprised of Antoinette Van der Merwe, Courtney Williams, Oneka Wilson and Ockera Myrie has a season best time of 44.34, which is 16th best in the east region this season.
