North Carolina Defeats Clemson 4-3 in Men’s Tennis

CLEMSON, SC — North Carolina defeated Clemson 4-3 in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s tennis match at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

With the win, the 14th-ranked Tar Heels remain undefeated at 14-0 overall, and 2-0 in the ACC. Clemson falls to 19-6 this season, 2-3 in league play. Karl Wishart of North Carolina defeated Kevin Fleck 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, to clinch the match for the Tar Heels making the score 4-2. Rok Bizjak of Clemson defeated Sebastian Guejman of North Carolina 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 to make the final score 4-3.

Clemson will play host to Cal-Riverside on Tuesday, March 27, at 2:30 p.m. and UNC-Greensboro at 7:00 p.m. in the Tigers’ next action.
