No. 31 Washington Defeats No. 33 Clemson In Men’s Tennis

CAPITOLA, Calif. – The No. 31 Washington men’s tennis team downed 33rd-ranked Clemson 5-2 on Saturday night. Although Clemson won all three doubles matches, the Huskies won five out of six singles matches. Clemson’s only singles victory was registered by Tomasz Boniecki while playing in the number-one position.

The match against Washington was the last in a six game West Coast trip for the Tigers. With the loss Clemson falls to 12-11 on the year while Washington improved to 11-5. Clemson’s next match will be at home against ACC opponent Georgia Tech on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
