Clemson freshman women’s basketball player Lele Hardy scored 22 against Wake Forest in 2007. She is the first Lady Tiger to earn the honor since 2007, when Lele Hardy claimed the distinction. Dixon is just the 9th Clemson player to earn the award, which has been handed out weekly since 1992. Dixon’s coach, Itoro Umoh Coleman, is one of the other eight former Lady Tigers to be honored.Clemson will play the 500th home game in Lady Tiger Basketball history on Thursday against South Carolina at 7:00 pm in Littlejohn Coliseum. Dixon is one of six freshmen on the current roster, which features two sophomores and two seniors.
