Want to know the gameday “must sees” that will be happening inside Death Valley during the Clemson football game this weekend other than football? Below is a list of in-game ceremonies and presentations that are worthy of staying in your seat!

Pregame

Reunion Football Teams: The 1964, 1989, and 2004 Clemson football teams will be acknowledged as they run down The Hill.

Dotting the “i”: As the Tiger Band spells out “Tigers” during their pre-game entrance, look for Alumni President, Danny Gregg, and his family to act as the dot on top of the “i.”

Astronaut Presentation: Fred Gregory, one of the nation’s top astronauts will be presenting Clemson Physics student, John Farmer, with a $10,000 check from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.

1984 Soccer Team Presentation: This National Championship team will be recognized as they celebrate their 30th Anniversary.

Honorary Letterwinner Coin Toss: Clemson Greats, Bill Smith and Kendall Alley will join the Clemson and North Carolina captains for the coin toss.

First Quarter

Hero of the Game: Fans have been asked to submit a nomination form highlighting deserving Veteran or Active Duty Military member. Joseph R. Clelan will be honored during this presentation.

Professor of the Game: Dr. Charles Starkey, an Associate Professor of Philosophy, will be acknowledged for his national prominence in ethics education.

Halftime

Band Performance: The Clemson University Tiger Band will be putting on a show that fans don’t want to miss! Pay special attention to the “Top 20” nod in their performance.

Hall of Fame Ceremony: Seven Tigers will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame: Mike Gandolfo, Nnamdi Nwokocha, Dwight Rainey’s, Jim Riggs, Duane Ross, Ed Scott, and Shekera Weston.
