CLEMSON, SC – Clemson senior Cydonie Mothersill, the NCAA Division I National Champion in the 200m dash, recorded the third-fastest indoor time in the world this year according to the International Amateur Athletic Federation. Mothersill’s time of 22.84, recorded in the preliminaries of the 200m dash at the NCAA Championships last weekend, ties Juliet Campbell for the third-fastest mark this season. She is currently the second fastest woman in the 200m indoors this year behind Campbell who also recorded the top two times (22.64, 22.72) times. Mothersill is also ranked 28th overall in the women’s 200m with a score of 1192. Marion Jones is listed as the top 200m dash athlete with a score of 1315.
