Mike Mattson Honored by Soccer America

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson’s Mike Mattson was named to Soccer America’s Team of the Week as announced by the publication Wednesday.

Mattson scored the game winner in Clemson’s 1-0 upset win over eighth-ranked Virginia last Saturday night.

Mattson is a graduate student and is from Boca Raton, FL

Clemson is now 2-5-1 having defeated Georgia Southern Tuesday night by a 6-0 score.

The Tigers will play at St. Louis on Saturday, October 3, in Clemson¹s next action.
