# 8 Bryan Peck

Position: Infield/Outfield Hgt.: 5-11 Wgt.: 185 Class: Senior Bats/Throws: R/R Hometown: Athens, Tenn.

General: Bryan will probably begin the year at third base …. hits for power and average … runs well … should be a staple in the middle of the order … will also see time at second and right field.

1999: Made an immediate impact by hitting .339 and leading the team with 56 RBIs … smacked a school-record 23 doubles … hit 17 HRs … struck out only 14 times … put together 19 multiple-RBI games.

High School: As a senior at Meigs County, hit .410 with 12 homers and 40 RBI under coach Roger Webb … also lettered in football and basketball … was Region Player of the Year.

Personal: Bryan Alexander Peck is undecided on a major … lists his favorite movie as Forrest Gump … born August 9, 1977 … the son of Bill and Trish Peck.

General: A hard-throwing pitcher with a great breaking pitch and a developing change-up … has good command of the strike zone … becoming a premier pitcher in the OVC.

1999: Went 8-5 with a 4.80 ERA in 16 appearances … started in 13 games … led the team with 83 K’s and five complete games… struck out 10 at Jacksonville State … struck out five or more hitters 10 times.

High School: Had a sparkling 1.75 ERA and .350 batting average under coach Jerry Mathis at Tullahoma High School … was named All-District and All-Midstate … also lettered in football and basketball.
