Men’s Tennis To Face 24th-Ranked South Carolina on Tuesday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will face nationally ranked South Carolina on Tuesday at 3:30PM at the Belton Tennis Center in Belton, SC. The Tigers enter the match with an 11-16 overall record. The Gamecocks are 14-7 on the year.

In singles for the Tigers, freshman Sander Koning has won seven of his last eight matches and leads the team with a 19-5 dual record. Freshman Nathan Thompson is 17-12 overall and 13-8 in dual matches for the season.

For Clemson in doubles, the duo of Damiisa Robinson and Goran Sterijovski are 13-6 overall and 4-3 in the ACC this season. Senior Nathan Thompson are second on the team with ten overall doubles wins on the season.

On Friday, Clemson will face 23rd-ranked Wake Forest at 3:00PM in the first round of the ACC Tournament in Raleigh, NC. The Tigers will enter this year’s tournament as the No. 6 seed. The winner of Friday’s match between Clemson and Wake Forest will play on Saturday at 1:00PM.
