Men’s Tennis Defeats St. John’s On Final Day Of The Clemson Spring Classic

The Clemson men’s tennis team defeated St. John’s on the final day of the Clemson Spring Classic at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in Clemson, SC. The Tigers improve to 10-4 on the season.

In singles play, Nathan Thompson won a 6-2, 6-1 decision over Rick Ferreira at number one singles. At flight four singles, Micah Thompson was victorious over Jake Maxwell by a score of 6-3, 6-2. The Tigers’ Ash Misquith defeated Boris Chiporukha at number five singles, 6-4, 6-0. At number six singles, Brett Twente downed Todd Goldberg by a score of 6-0, 6-3.

The Tigers will return to action on Mar. 1, as they play host to South Alabama at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.
