Men’s Cross Country Opens Season With Fourth-Place Finish At Appalachian State Invitational

BOONE, NC – The Clemson men’s cross country team opened their season with a fourth-place finish at the Appalachian State Invitational. High Point won the meet with 32 points, while Wake Forest finished second with 46 points. Florida State was third (71 pts.), Clemson finished fourth (81 pts.), Radford was fifth with 152 points and UNC Greensboro finished sixth with 157 points.

The Tiger harriers were led by junior Clay Pendleton finished 30th in 21:14, and sophomore David Adams was 40th with a time of 21:30.

The Clemson men’s cross country team returns to action on Sept. 14 at the Georgia Bulldog Stampede.
