Meany Finishes 32nd At USA Cross Country Championships

HOUSTON, TX – Clemson’s Jason Meany placed 32nd at the USA Cross Country Championships held Saturday on a very muddy Buffalo Bayou course. The senior from Liverpool, NY, was the second collegiate finisher out of a field of 72. Meany recorded a time of 14:05 over the 4K course.

Meany was the 2002 Southeast Region Cross Country champion, and competed at the NCAA National Championships, placing 48th of 254 runners. He was also named the Southeast Region Runner of the Year, and was a member of the 2002 All-ACC team.
