Tommy McNamara scored his fifth goal of the season this weekend for New York City FC against DC United. DC United struck first in the match, but McNamara’s goal was the equalizer.

NYCFC would score two more to take a 3-1 win. Tommy also assisted on Kwadwo Poku’s goal in the 88th minute.
Amadou Dia played 56 minutes of action for Sporting KC in a 4-3 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday. He took one shot. Earlier in the week, Dia started for KC against Real Salt Lake, playing a full 90 minutes and taking one shot.
Nathan Sturgis started in the midfield for the Houston Dynamo in a 0-2 loss to the New England Revolution.
Joe Bendik started and played a full 90 minutes in goal for Toronto FC against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. Bendik made four saves in the loss.
