CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Clemson Tigers are set to take on the UNC Tar Heels in their second ACC road match of the 2024 season. The match is slated for 2 p.m. and all courts will be streamed at the link here.
The Tigers will look to secure their first conference-win over the Tar Heels as they recently lost a tough, 3-4 battle to No. 11 Duke to open up ACC play. Against the Blue Devils, three Tigers secured singles wins as Wissam Abderrahman, Matt Pitts and Stewart Aronson were victorious on their respective courts.
Abderrahman earned a win over a ranked opponent as the defeated Pedro Rodenas, who is currently ranked No. 31 in singles.
The Tar Heels are coming off a recent 4-3 victory over Georgia Tech as UNC is 1-0 in ACC play. The Tigers will look to give them their second loss at home and their first in conference-play.
