Clemson Volleyball Hosts Gardner-Webb

CLEMSON, S.C. –The Clemson Volleyball team returns home to play Gardner-Webb on Sunday at 4 p.m. in Jervey Gym. The match is broadcast on ACCNX.

The Tigers and Bulldogs haven’t played each other since 1980 when the Tigers secured a 2-0 victory. Gardner-Webb is coming to Jervey Gym with a two-game winning streak with recent victories over Middle Tennessee and Alabama State for an overall record of 2-1.

Clemson enters the match 2-2 with two recent losses in their latest contests against Central Florida and #24 South Carolina. Graduate transfer Kaylee Martin and freshman Devan Taylor continue to lead the way for the Tigers tallying a season-high 45 kills and 48 digs between the two of them. Mckenna Slavik made her season debut against the Gamecocks, finishing with 19 assists and six digs.

All matches in Jervey Gym are free and open to the public. Face coverings are required according to the mask mandate on Clemson’s campus within indoor spaces.
