CLEMSON, S.C.– The Clemson Tigers are set to open up their 2026 spring competition season as they host Mercer on Friday, Jan. 16, at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. The competition is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m., and admission is free to all. The Tigers will also play host to Charlotte and Western Carolina for the first doubleheader of the season on Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. The match against the 49ers is scheduled for 10 a.m., and the match against WCU will follow at 2:30 p.m.
On Friday, posters, schedule magnets and free coffee and donuts will be given out for fans to enjoy as well . On Sunday, there will be free coffee and breakfast treats.
The Tigers are coming off a successful fall campaign, during which many of the sophomores had success against high-caliber opponents. Junior Ria Bhakta qualified for the NCAA Individual Championships in Orlando, Fla., competing all the way to the round of 32.
