CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 21 Clemson Women’s Tennis (10-2) team opens their ACC Conference schedule on the road against two ranked teams this weekend. On Friday, Feb. 20, the Tigers take on the No. 12 Cal Golden Bears (2-0) at 4:30 pm. On Sunday, Feb. 22, the Tigers take on the No. 18 Stanford Cardinal (4-3).
Freshman Rinon Okuwaki, concluded non-conference play with a perfect 6-0 record and looks to continue during conference play. Sophomore Artemis Aslanisvili dominated in non-conference singles play, going 8-0 for the Tigers.
Sophomores Artemis Aslanisvili and Talia Neilson-Gatenby were 7-1 in non-conference play and look to maintain their dominance on the court. Senior Romana Cisovska and Sophomore Gaia Parravicini went 8-2 in doubles in non-conference play.
Cal leads Clemson 7-0 in the all-time series. The Tigers most recently faced the Golden Bears in 2014 at a neutral site. All-time, Stanford leads Clemson 11-0.
