Mamona Leads Lady Tigers at Penn Relays

Philadelphia, PA – The women’s track & field team wrapped up day two of competition at the rain-soaked, lightning-delayed 113th running of the prestigious Penn Relays. The meet, held at historic Franklin Field, was delayed on more than one occasion due to severe weather.

Gisele Oliveira ranks ahead of her on the Lady Tigers’ all-time performance list in the triple jump. Nakeisha Wineglass had a mark of 38’2″ in the collegiate-level flight of the triple jump.

Patrice McMillan posted a time of 1:41.72. In the shuttle hurdle relay, the team of Hardy, Barringer, Liane Weber, and Golladay posted a time of 57 seconds. Their effort was good enough for fifth-best Friday.

In Friday action, the 4x100m relay team posted a time of 47.16 and finished fourth in their heat and 25th out of 84 schools overall. The group consisted of Hardy, Golladay, Barringer, and Scott. In the hammer throw, Della Clark had the Lady Tigers’ top mark at 165’5″. Mamona and Wineglass both hit marks of 18’4.25″ in the long jump.
