Stanford, CA – Clemson junior distance runner Itay Magidi competed in the prestigious Stanford Invitational on Friday and posted a provisional qualifying time in the 10,000m run. His time of 29:29.34 was good enough for seventh in his section of 39 runners. It also was the fifth-best mark in that event in Clemson history and a personal best for the native of Yavne, Israel. He is the first Clemson athlete to break into the top five in Tiger record books in the 10,000m in 15 years.
