CLEMSON, S.C. – After recording NCAA Zone scores in both event finals over the weekend at JMU, Freida Lim was named the ACC’s Women’s Diver of the Week on Tuesday. This is the second time this season that the native of Singapore has been awarded this honor.
Lim was one of two Clemson divers to qualify for finals in both the one- and three-meter at the JMU Diving Invitational, and her score of 307.55 in the three-meter finals ranks among the top 10 scores in program history in that event. She finished second on the three-meter and third on the one-meter, and her three Zone scores bring her season total to 11, good for second best on the team.
Lim and the rest of the Tigers return to action on Monday in Atlanta, Ga. at the ACC Championships, which take place at the Georgia Tech Aquatics Center and run from Feb. 13-16.
