CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson women’s basketball team will play host to Charleston Southern Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum.
The Lady Tigers are playing at 8:00 p.m. due to the graduation ceremonies held in the Coliseum earlier in the day. The Lady Tigers enter the game with an overall record of 6-3, including wins in each of their last three games. This will be Clemson’s final game prior to the Christmas break.
Head Coach Jim Davis recorded his 50th career win over a top 25 team with the 73-69 win over 24th-ranked Penn State on December 18th at State College, PA. Marci Glenney scored a season-high 20 points and Chrissy Floyd added 18 to lead Clemson to the victory over Penn State.
Floyd is Clemson’s leading scorer entering the game with a 16.8 ppg. average. Maggie Slosser leads the team in rebounding with a 6.0 rpg. mark.
Charleston Southern has a 5-3 record this season. They are coming off a 69-62 victory over South Carolina State. They are led in scoring by Tamara Ruzic, who has a 12.0 ppg. average. Staci Mueler has an 11.1 scoring average and has shot 51.4 percent from the field.
