The Clemson Lady Tiger Basketball team will play host to 11th-ranked Penn State at the Civic Center of Anderson, in Anderson, SC Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Clemson will enter the game with a 3-1 record overall, while Penn State has a 5-1 mark this season. Penn State is ranked 11th by the Associated Press and 12th in the USA Today poll.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 13.5 ppg. average. Maggie Slosser are both averaging 7.0 rpg. each. The Tigers have won three games in a row.
Kelly Mazzante leads the Lady Lions in scoring with a 25.7 ppg. average. Ashli Schwab leads Penn State in rebounding with a 7.8 rpg. mark.
This will be the fifth meeting between Clemson and Penn State on the basketball court. The Lady Lions lead the overall series 3-1. Clemson won last season at Penn State 73-69.
