Clemson Notes:

  • Sophomore Nelly Perry is averaging 14.1 points per game (13th in the ACC) and 13.8 points per game in ACC play; she has scored in double-figures 15 times this season.
  • Perry scored a career-high 23 points (8-19 fg, 6-10 ft) in 36 minutes of action at Virginia Tech on Monday, Jan. 18.
  • Perry has increased her scoring average from 6.7 points per game as a freshman to 14.1 points per game as a sophomore, one of the greatest scoring increases for a sophomore in the ACC this season.
  • Freshman Aliyah Collier scored a career-high 18 points (7-11 fg, 2-2 3fg) vs. Georgia Tech on Jan. 24.
  • Collier has come alive in the month of February, averaging 8.7 ppg and 10.7 rpg.
  • Collier pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds vs. Wake Forest on Feb. 11, the most boards by a Tiger since Dec. 30, 2012.
  • Freshman Danielle Edwards was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 28, the first Tiger to garner the award since the 2012-13 season.
  • Edwards recorded her fourth double-double of the season at Syracuse on Feb. 4, tallying 11 points and 11 rebounds in the contest.
  • Edwards and Perry both rank in the top-10 in the ACC in minutes per game.
  • Freshman Sirah Diarra is coming off her best performance of the season, scoring a career-high 11 points and tying a career-high with eight rebounds vs. Wake Forest on Feb. 11.
  • Clemson has utilized 13 different starting lineups this season and only Danielle Edwards has appeared in every lineup.

Opponent & Series Notes:

  • Clemson holds a 43-33 record all-time vs. Georgia Tech and a 17-17 record on the road in Atlanta.
  • Clemson and Georgia Tech already met once this season, a game in which the Yellow Jackets defeated the Tigers, 76-63 on Jan. 24 in Clemson.
