Lady Tigers Prepare for ACC Tournament

GREENSBORO, NC-The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team practiced for one hour Thursday afternoon at the Greensboro Coliseum in preparation for the team’s game with Maryland Friday night at 6:00 p.m. The game can be heard locally on WCCP-FM, 104.9 Clemson. Taylor Durham and Barbara Kennedy-Dixon will broadcast the action.

Clemson is led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 17.6 ppg. average. The Lady Tigers are seeded seventh in the tournament. Clemson has a 13-14 record overall. Maryland has a 10-17 record overall, and the Terrapins are seeded eighth in the tournament. Renneika Razor leads the Terrapins in scoring (1.63 ppg.) and rebounding (5.6 rpg.). The Lady Tigers defeated Maryland in both games this past season.

“We had a great workout today,” said Clemson Head Coach Jim Davis. “The enthusiasm is good and the players are upbeat. We could practice for only one hour today and we got the most out of the time that we had. The players worked hard today.”
