Lady Tigers Play Host To No. 13 Maryland on Sunday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team (8-10, 1-2 ACC) returns home to take on #13 Maryland (13-3, 0-2 ACC) on Sunday at 3:00 pm in Littlejohn Coliseum. The Lady Tigers played at #22 Miami on Friday night.

The game will be broadcast live on TigerCast at ClemsonTigers.com and will be available on the Clemson Sports Radio Network. Tickets are available at ClemsonTigers.com for $6.00 general admission seats. The Orange Brigade is also scheduled to meet after the game.

Senior Sthefany Thomas continues to chip away at the 1,000 point plateau, as she now has 973 in her career. She is looking to become the 22nd player in Clemson history with 1,000 points. Thomas leads Clemson in scoring at 13.3 points per game, and is scoring 19.0 points per game in ACC play.

The Lady Tigers forced a season-high 25 turnovers and picked up a season best 18 steals against the Hurricanes on Friday night, a 77-48 Miami victory. This will be Clemson’s fifth game in the last eight against a nationally ranked opponent.

Clemson and Maryland have met 61 times in history, with the Terrapins holding a 37-24 advantage.
