Clemson Notes:

  • Sophomore Nelly Perry is averaging 14.7 points per game (8th in the ACC) and 15.1 points per game in ACC play; she has scored in double-figures thirteen times this season.
  • Perry scored a career-high 23 points (8-19 fg, 6-10 ft) in 36 minutes of action at Virginia Tech on Monday, Jan. 18.
  • Perry has increased her scoring average from 6.7 points per game as a freshman to 14.7 points per game as a sophomore, one of the greatest scoring increases for a sophomore in the ACC this season.
  • Freshman Aliyah Collier scored a career-high 18 points (7-11 fg, 2-2 3fg) vs. Georgia Tech on Jan. 24.
  • Collier has scored eight or more points in five out of seven ACC games and is the Tigers’ second leading scorer in ACC play (9.9 points per game).
  • Freshman Danielle Edwards was named ACC Rookie of the Week (Dec. 28) following her 20-point performance in a win over UNC-Asheville on Dec. 21; she is the first Clemson rookie to garner the award since 2012-13.
  • Edwards ranks sixth in the ACC in steals/game (2.1) and fifth in free throw % (.804).
  • Clemson has utilized thirteen different starting lineups this season and only Danielle Edwards has appeared in every lineup.

  • Clemson leads the all-time series with Pitt 5-4 and holds a 3-0 record against the Panthers when playing at home.
  • The Lady Tigers last defeated Pitt on Jan. 12, 2013 in Littlejohn Coliseum by a score of 77-67.
