CLEMSON, SC – Clemson women’s basketball player Amanda Frist has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team, announced Feb. 9. Frist, an early childhood education major, was selected to the first-team All-District 3 University Division.
The Fountain Inn, SC native has started all 23 games for the Lady Tigers this season and boasts a 10.3 point per game average, which ranks second on the team. Frist leads the Clemson squad with a 59.0% field goal shooting percentage while blocking a team-best 34 shots this season.
In her four-year career, Frist ranks fourth all-time with 100 starts and 11th with 600 total rebounds. She is currently tied for sixth place in the Clemson annuals with 112 career blocks.
