Doug Kingsmore Stadium Facility Enhancements

In its 45th year, Doug Kingsmore Stadium remains one of the top college baseball facilities in the country. The Tigers finish in the top 10 in attendance year in and year out, and that home-field advantage has helped Clemson win nearly 80 percent of its home contests in the friendly confines.

Last summer, the playing surface underwent a makeover, as the field was re-leveled and improved drainage was installed. In future summers, Doug Kingsmore Stadium will undergo more multi-million-dollar renovations, including a state-of-the-art clubhouse and a baseball center behind the first-base dugout. Those changes will certainly improve upon Clemson’s #7 national stadium ranking by CollegeBaseballDaily.com in the summer of 2013.
