“Ask The Tigers” guest this week is Khalil Greene, the starting shortstop for the Clemson Tigers. Khalil has been named a second-team preseason All-American by Baseball America. He has started all but one game as a Tiger and has a career batting average of .361, which ranks ninth in Clemson history.
Khalil has struggled to find his rhythm early this season by his standards with the bat, sitting below .300, however as anyone that has watched him throughout his career can tell, it is only a matter of time before the third batter in the line-up breaks out. Khalil’s glove is second to none according Coach Leggett and he has been on top of his game this season as well, posting a .969 fielding percentage at the hot corner. However, he recently moved to shortstop to captain the Tiger infield. Khalil is looking forward to answering your questions, so send them in and his answers will be posted Thursday, March 8th.
