Kate is always trying to challenge others to push themselves harder to achieve their goals. She wants to get the most out of life and experience as much as possible. She wants the same for others too. She serves as one of the Student-Athlete Development Graduate Assistants here at Clemson University. She is currently in pursuit of her Master’s degree in Student Affairs. She graduated Keene State College with a degree in Journalism as well as a Bachelor’s of Communications. Before Clemson, Kate led mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and backing trips throughout the United States and taught environmental education. For three months this past summer she adventured the United States solo. She explored 17 National Parks and traveled over 11,000 miles! Kate also has her personal training certification through NASM. Kate loves the outdoors, working out, puppies, fried chicken, karaoke, and mostly advocating for and empowering students.
