NCAA DIVISION I WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP (6K) RESULTS
CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson’s Silvia Jelelgo competed in the NCAA Division I Women’s Cross Country Championship (6K) Saturday morning in Columbia, Mo., where she finished 18th place out of 262 athletes with a time of 19:03.7.
Jelelgo earned All-American honors, which are given to the top 40 finishers in the NCAA Championships.
“I’m beyond proud of her!” Cross Country Head Coach Vicky Pounds said. “She has been so consistent all season. It’s great to see how much she has progressed since last year. It has been an honor to work with her, and I can’t wait to see what she will accomplish next!”
