Jeff Hahn Named NECBL Pitcher-of-the-Week

Warwick, R.I. – Keene Swamp Bats pitcher Jeff Hahn was named New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) Pitcher-of-the-Week for the week ending July 13.

The 6-5 right-hand pitcher finished the week 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA striking out 12 batters in 16 innings pitched during his two starts. Opponents batted a mere .132 against him during the week.

Hahn picked up his first win of the week July 7 striking out seven and giving up just two hits and allowing no earned runs in an 8-6 win over the Danbury Westerners. On July 13, Hahn went the distance to improve to 3-0 on the season striking out five and surrendering five hits and no earned runs in a 5-4 win over the Manchester Silkworms.

At Clemson as a red-shirt freshman this season, Hahn was 3-0 on the mound with 30 strikeouts making 23 appearances, all in relief. A native of Winchester, Va., Hahn composed a 3.19 ERA for the Tigers in 42.1 innings of work.
