Clemson’s Itay Magidi was named the ACC Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week, announced the conference office on Monday. The sophomore from Yavne, Israel earned the honor after winning the Clemson Invitational/South Carolina Collegiate Championships individual crown. It was Magidi’s first career cross country individual title as he helped lead the Tigers to the team title. Magidi posted a time of 24:45.20 over the 8K course.
The Tigers return to the cross country course on Saturday, Sept. 25, as they compete at the Winthrop Invitational.
