With 2015 now complete and the tax season approaching, many are beginning to gather and prepare their personal information for tax filing purposes. However, we would first like to thank all those who donated to IPTAY during this past calendar year. The generosity shown by so many is remarkable and provides the Clemson Tigers with the tools they need to compete at the highest level.
IPTAY donations are generally 80 percent tax deductible if a donor purchases season tickets and 100 percent deductible without season tickets. However, be sure to consult with your tax advisor as to proper treatment of this contribution based on your individual tax situation.
In the coming days, if you made a contribution to IPTAY during the 2015 calendar year, you will be receiving your individualized tax receipt. The letter will be coming via email and will inform you of your amount given and other pertinent information regarding the tax season. We encourage all donors to print the email out to serve as their official documentation regarding their contributions to IPTAY for 2015.
Note: Gifts made to IPTAY through the Clemson University Foundation during the 2015 calendar year should have been receipted through the foundation giving office.
As a reminder, all IPTAY donors who would like to receive a 2016 football ticket application will need to have satisfied 50% of their IPTAY 2016 pledge by February 15, 2016. You can make your IPTAY 2016 pledge and payment several easy ways. You can do so anytime online by clicking HERE, over the phone at 1-800-CLEMSON or by visiting the IPTAY Center located at 1 Avenue of Champions Clemson, SC. 29634. You can also mail your donation to PO Box 1529, Clemson SC, 29633. Please note your IPTAY # and giving level on your donation form or check. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
