IPTAY Seat Equity Plan

IPTAY has announced adjustments to the IPTAY Seat Equity Plan regarding per seat donations required for football priority seating in Memorial Stadium, effective for the 2013 football season. Prior to the 2008 football season, the Clemson University Athletic Department announced the IPTAY Seat Equity Plan which created a per seat donation value that was associated to a seating location.

When the IPTAY Seat Equity Plan was implemented in 2008, one component of the plan allowed for the IPTAY Board of Directors and staff to review the seat values associated with each section after a five-year period. The seating has remained similar and a modification of the seat values within each section of Memorial Stadium will be implemented for the 2013 football season. When implementing this modification, it is important for the Clemson Athletic Department to ensure that IPTAY as well as IPTAY donors are doing everything possible to help Clemson reach highly competitive and academic goals. Continuing to maximize the strength of Clemson Athletics and IPTAY is critical to the Clemson Athletic program because IPTAY’s mission is to provide for the educational expenses of all its student-athletes, the operations and maintenance of Vickery Hall and the operations of IPTAY, and to assist the Athletic department on specific funding requests.

Additional Information will be in the Orange…The Experience magazine that will be mailed to all IPTAY donors around August 14. Detailed brochures will be mailed to each IPTAY donor in late August to the address listed on the account, and in late September, a donor specific communication will be sent to all IPTAY Season Ticket Holders informing the donors of their 2013 IPTAY seat value.
