CLEMSON, S.C. – The 14th-ranked Clemson Gymnastics program scored a 196.875, the fifth-highest total overall and highest in a road meet in program history, in a dual meet victory at Pittsburgh at the Fitzgerald Field House. The Tigers’ (3-4, 2-3 ACC) season scoring average rose to 196.532 through seven meets, the best in the program’s three seasons. The No. 34 Panthers (1-8, 0-5 ACC) finished with a 195.225.
Three of Clemson’s top five scores in program history have come in its past three meets.
Graduate student Ella Cesario (VT: 9.825, UB: 9.875, BB: 9.925, FX: 9.850) had her best meet for the Tigers, registering a 39.475 in the All-Around, the third-highest total for a Tiger in team history, and also won beam with a season-high 9.925. Three Tigers tallied career-bests on the day, including Tara Walsh, who tied her career-bests in vault and floor, Lilly Lippeatt, who tied bests on bars and beam, and Emma Malewski, who posted her first career 9.900 on bars.
Clemson and Pitt will meet again on Friday, with the Tigers hosting the Panthers.

Bars: 49.350
Clemson tied its season-best and third-highest bars score in 32 all-time meets with a 49.350 for the second consecutive meet behind a pair of 9.900s, which tied for the event winners. Lilly Lippeatt led off with a career-high-tying 9.900, which she last accomplished at the ACC Championships in 2024. Hannah Clark followed with a 9.875 and Eve Jackson posted a 9.800. Freshman Emma Malewski posted her career-best with a 9.900 of her own, and Ella Cesario had a 9.875. Quinn Kuhl rounded out the lineup with a 9.675.
Vault: 49.125
Clemson posted its highest road vault score this season and second-highest vault score overall in 2026 behind another massive 9.900 from Tara Walsh. Walsh won vault for the fifth time this season after entering the meet 3rd in the ACC with a 9.858 average. Cesario and Maggie Holman had matching 9.825s and Madison Minner added a 9.800. Paige Anastasi registered a 9.775 in the anchor.
Floor: 49.100
After Madison Minner led off with a 9.600, Maggie Holman responded with a 9.850 and Walsh posted her fifth 9.875 on the floor of the season. Cesario finished with a 9.850 and Brie Clark hit right at her season average of 9.925. Clark entered the meet leading the ACC and fourth nationally on floor and won the event for the seventh time in as many tries this season.
Beam: 49.300
Clemson tied its fourth-best mark ever on beam behind Cesario’s 9.925 and a 9.900 from Lippeatt in the leadoff spot. Walsh registered a 9.875 and Brie Clark and Quinn Kuhl each had 9.800s. Malewski posted a 9.650 in the anchor spot.
