Augusta, Ga. – Sophomore Savannah Grewal finished play at Champions Retreat after the first two rounds of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur on Friday afternoon. Grewal played the first nine holes of the second round on Thursday before play was halted due to weather, then played the final nine on Friday morning.
Grewal finished her two rounds at +15, finishing below the cut line for Saturday’s final round. The entire field of 72 played a practice round at Augusta National on Friday following the conclusion of the second round.
Grewal will now return to Clemson to prepare with the rest of the Tigers for the 2022 ACC Championships, taking place at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C., April 14-17.
