CLEMSON, S.C. – Commencement ceremonies at Clemson University took place May 9, but the Tiger baseball team was playing a three-game series at Notre Dame that weekend. Therefore, the six baseball graduates were unable to attend commencent ceremonies in Littlejohn Coliseum with the rest of their fellow graduates.
Clemson University President Jim Clements was on hand at Doug Kingsmore Stadium prior to Friday night’s game against Boston College. He presented diplomas to righthander Clay Bates (health science), righthander Matt Campbell (parks, recreation & tourism management), outfielder Joe Costigan (sociology), infielder Mike Dunster (management), first-baseman Jon McGibbon (sociology) and infielder Steve Wilkerson (communication studies) along with Tiger tennis player Dominique Maden (marketing).
